    ABOUT THIS COFFEE

    Character
This lot is a blend of different varieties - because Finca Aurora is so small that certain lots are processed together. This blend brings together 5 different varieties: Caturra, Catuai, Bourbon, Gesha and Catimor, which make for an exciting and delicious profile. Due to the high cultivation altitude, the cherries also ripen particularly slowly, so that the profile can become particularly complex: we taste an almost buttery sweetness, with the acidity of pears, the body is light and clear, which is not least due to the washed processing. The finish is long-lasting and sweet, with nutty notes.

    About this coffee

This lot comes from Peru, where it is grown on the slopes of the Andes at an altitude of around 1,800 metres. Due to the altitude, the cherries ripen particularly slowly and an interesting flavour profile can develop. We taste cherries, vanilla and nougat on the finish.
